Extra cash for Central School

Don’t forget we are always collecting Box Tops and Labels for Education.

Keep your eyes open for the little labels on your food items and be sure to ask your family, friends and neighbors to collect them as well.

Every year, the PTO turns those little labels into hundreds of dollars in cash and supplies for Central.

They can be dropped off in the office.

Thanks for your support!

Panera Bread in Metropolitan Square has been so kind to host the event this month.

A percentage of all sales during our time slot will be donated back to the Central PTO. Please support a local business that is willing to support our kids!

Mark it on your calendar and take a night off in your kitchen! How about a nice warm bread bowl of soup?

You will need to bring the attached flyer with you in order for us to get the money from your purchase.  Feel free to share with your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers!  Flyers will also go home with students soon.

Safety reminders for student drop-off and pick-up

Please remember to be patient and use extreme caution during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.

The traffic situation has gotten very dangerous both in front of and behind the school.

Unfortunately, the overwhelming amount of snow has left parents no where to park.

Mrs. Kreuger has asked the Police Department for help in directing traffic and getting some relief.   We are not yet sure if they will help out.

Morning attendance and lunch count will be delayed while traffic is backed up.  Students will not be marked tardy if they arrive after the bell during this time.   So please take your time and DO NOT DROP YOUR CHILDREN OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET.  There have been some close-calls.  We would hate to see a student or parent injured.

Please make sure your children use the crossing guards to safely cross the street.

Please pull all of the way forward on the circle drive when you are dropping off.

Do not block the street at any time.

Please park as close to the curb as possible so that traffic can move through the area.

Let’s work together to get through these challenging winter conditions.

Thank you!
