Last call for BOX TOPS!

we want your box tops

Now that we’re in the final weeks of the school year, we are making the last call for Box Tops.

The FINAL collection sheet will be sent home with students tomorrow.

Please check your pantry and  ask your neighbors and family members for extra Box Tops.  They must be returned to Central by MAY 20th so they can be submitted by the June 1st deadline.  Anything sent in after May 20th will be held until the Fall.   

Please check to make sure the Box Tops are not expired.

It’s a close race in the Classroom Competition  — so send in as many Box Tops as possible!

The winning classroom will have a celebration by the end of the year.

Thank you for helping out with our Box Top collection.  So far this year, we’ve earned nearly $700!

Don’t forget to send in any LABELS FOR EDUCATION as well.   They are ending that program and we want to get all of the points possible before it ends for good this summer.

Help us earn extra $$$ for Central

We need your help!

There are several ways to help earn free money for Central School.   It will simply take a little effort on your part.

1.  Target Red Card   – Sign up for a Target Red Card  (credit or debit)  and YOU receive 5% off all of your purchases PLUS Central gets 1% of your purchase total  – You simply need to make sure you select Central School when you sign up for the card.  Spread the word and tell your family and friends to remember Central when they get their card.

2. Box Tops For Education —  look for the box tops on all of your grocery items.   There are 100’s of products that have the Box Top on the packaging.  Be sure to cut out the Box Top and save them to send into school.   Each Box Top is worth $.10 and every year they add up to more than $1,000 for Central School.    You can also earn more Box Tops on the web site  http://www.boxtops4education.com/

See you at The Strut tonight!

The 5th Annual Central School Strut is this TODAY!!

Central Parents, Students, Staff and Friends:

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and cheering voices and join us TONIGHT, Friday, May 1st at 5 PM on the Central playground.

Students can turn in their pledge forms when they show up.

Donations needed! Can you help?

The Central PTO is looking for some household items to be donated for a very special classroom project and fundraiser. 

Do you have an old bench, chair, a small stool, clay flower pots, a small table or rocking chair, book shelf??  

Or anything like that, which can be painted and decorated by the students? 

Each classroom will be creating a project that will be donated to the Silent Auction at the Central Strut this Spring. 

Here are some examples of what we are looking for:

Front porch idea. Love, love, love!  Not very artsy, but maybe could see if my artist friends could come up with something.

The Book Fair is coming! Volunteers Are Needed!

The Book Fair is right around the corner and the Central PTO is looking for some awesome volunteers to help run the fair. 

Volunteers are needed  

Thursday and Friday Nov.  20 & 21st  

 Before and After school –  8:30 – 9am and 3:30 – 4pm 

Monday and Tuesday, November 24th & 25th  – Parent-Teacher Conferences  (No school these days) 

1pm – 8pm  – Monday

8am – 2pm – Tuesday

Fun way to preserve your child’s artwork

Central parents and guardians –

The PTO is offering a new fundraiser this year.  You should have already received an order form and information from Square 1 Art.    It’s a fun way to share your child’s creativity with your loved ones.  Your child has created a special drawing which you can have made on various items, from a water bottle and tote bag to magnets, iPhone cases and note cards.   They make for great birthday and holiday gifts as well.   Central PTO will earn a portion of all sales!
